Don Burton
Don was born in Redding and raised in Palo Cedro. When he attended Junction School he always dreamed of being on the radio so when he says he’s “living his dream,” he really is. Riding Motorcycles and playing tennis were a part of his younger days, and still are a big part of his life today. He stays active riding his Suzuki 400 dual sport and plays tennis up to 5 times a week at times. He has 2 daughters and 2 grand daughters that all live here in Redding. He has a true passion for radio and has been on the air with K-Shasta since 1999.
Heather Ryan
Heather is a “Hometown Girl”, born & raised in Redding and can’t imagine herself living anywhere else. At the young age of 15, it was almost a daily occurrence that someone told her “you have a voice for Radio”. Never knowing how or why, but after years of this, it actually became a reality. Having worked numerous years in the medical field, a few long term positions in the professional world her friendship with Don Burton & other DJ’s in town grew. Eventually being asked by Don to partner with him in 2014 to become the other half of the K-Shasta Morning Show, they’re still going strong. Heather was & still is a huge Radio fan…she truly loves it! Spending time with her hubby & grown boys, working in their 2 Full time woodworking businesses (building wedding rentals & custom Cornhole Boards), they also enjoy traveling, camping, cooking, painting, reading. Supporting/volunteering/fundraising in her community is a small part of what she loves!
Chris Dustman
Chris started his radio career in Redding in the late ’90s. After moving to Sacramento in 2000 he spent 18 years on the air and doing commercial and imaging production at several stations. Chris moved back to Redding in 2018 and rejoined the K-Shasta on air family. Music has been part of Chris’s life since he was a child. He plays the guitar and is currently in the band FM Flyby along with our morning show host Don Burton. Chris is also professional photographer.
Kevin McFarlane
If you have been around long enough, events, people, styles, and even music, come around again. If you think his voice sounds familiar, you’re probably on the right track. Kevin McFarlane returns to K-Shasta after years of serving the underprivileged in our community. Before that, Kevin literally grew up on the radio. (That’s a story for another time.) Kevin loves music and warm-hearted people, and it clearly shows when he is on the air 10am to 3pm weekdays. He is glad to be back with his familiar friends and faces on K-Shasta.
Clark Schopflin
Clark has lived in Northern California for most of his life and been in broadcasting for over 35 years, Clark resides in the Shasta Lake area with his wife, 2 cats, 4 rats and a dog. 2 adult daughters and a grandson keep him busy with family. He loves Stephen King novels, Tarantino movies and binge watching whatever the hot new thing is.
